BEYSAD Automatica Visited 2023 Munich Fair
27-30.06.2023

As the White Goods Suppliers Association (BEYSAD), we visited Automatica, the world's leading smart automation and robotics fair, together with our 10 members.

Organized by Messe Munchen, Automatica Munich took place in Messe Munchen on 27-30 June 2023. Automatica, which is normally held every two years, changed its order this year after last year, merged with the Laser World of Photonics fair, and was held for two consecutive years. Automatica and Laser World of Photonics fairs, which decided to merge after 2023, will be held under the same roof once again every two years from this year on.

Established in 2004 as the heart of Europe's largest robotics and automation market, Automatica is a network that develops future-oriented solutions so that participants from all branches of the industry can access more functional products. At Automatica, the first international trade fair where people can see all segments of the robotics and automation department, international products are offered in the core areas of assembly and handling technology, robotics, industrial image processing and related technologies. Automatica is a functional event where industry professionals find all kinds of automation technologies under one roof.

In the fair we visited for two days with our BEYSAD members, we were able to examine developments in the robotics, software, industrial image processing and hardware sectors, and to visit major exhibitors and stakeholders such as Liebherr, Kuka, Fanuc, Omron, ABB, Staunlı, Universal Robots, Festo, and our stakeholders at the fairgrounds.

BEYSAD Vice President of the Board of Directors Sefa Böyet, one of the participants of the fair - which we observe to be developing more and more each year, conveyed his observations with the following words: “As the BEYSAD Family, we participated in Automatica 2023, one of the most anticipated fairs on an international scale, which is held every year in Munich. At the fair, where we observed that the boundaries of technology were expanding day by day, we visited many companies that are among the stakeholders of BEYSAD at their stands and had the opportunity to get to know the latest points of the technologies they develop every year. In this context, I would like to thank each of our companies and stakeholders.

While the "Cobot" technologies, which can work with people, which came to the fore at the fair held last year, are again one of the most interesting products of the fair this year, we can see that the boundaries of the solutions of this technology are expanding even more.

I was able to observe that two more issues stood out in the fair. First of all, we have seen that robotic technologies will not only consist of industrial life, but will be highly integrated into our daily lives in the near future. Robot technologies, which are frequently used in every branch of the industry, have now shown the vision that they will be positioned in the near future to every point that a normal person can come into contact with during the day, such as health, textile, transportation, and e-commerce.

Another interesting issue is that the participants and technology developers showed us that AI technologies, that is, artificial intelligence, will quickly enter our lives under the management of robotic technologies. With Industry 4.0, it seems that the ideal of managing factory management through artificial intelligence will become possible in the very near future with robotic systems and sensors, cameras and other similar digital tools that can transfer data with each other.

As a result, while technology continues to develop rapidly, it becomes inevitable for people to both direct this technology and renew itself with constant innovation, and keep up with it in an intense competitive environment. In short, this fair shows that with each passing year, it seems that robots will live together with technology and adapt to human life, and humans will adapt to the number of cycles of robots and their artificial intelligence.”

We would like to thank our participating members and hope to see you again at other events...
