White Goods Suppliers’ Association (BEYSAD) paid a visit to our Atatürk on Saturday, November 11, 2023, within the scope of the 100th Anniversary celebrations of our Republic. This visit of BEYSAD, which left a wreath at Anıtkabir with a delegation of approximately 40 people, gained an even more meaningful dimension for the institution with the 30th anniversary of the association and its first female president. Retired Colonel and Research Writer Dr. Fatih Özkurt, who guided and accompanied the delegation, shared valuable information about Anıtkabir during the visit.

BEYSAD‘s President of the Board of Directors D. Yasemin Aksu, who also left a note in the Anıtkabir Honor Book on behalf of the delegation, included the following words in her article:

“Founder of the Republic of Turkey, Great Statesman, our Ancestor, Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK,

We, the White Goods Suppliers’ Association (BEYSAD), represent nearly 200 industrial establishments serving the white goods industry in Turkey, which is the world's second and Europe's largest white goods producer. We are proud to be in your presence to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our association and the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey, which you have gifted to us.

Our association continues its work for its country and sector following your principles in order to properly serve the Republic you entrusted to us. As women of the Republic who participate in life without having to hide their existence from anyone, without fear or bowing their heads, we are proud to be among the sectors that best reflect the equality of men and women in our country, with the duties we undertake from the top management of our association to the lowest levels of our member organizations.

From now on, as we have done so far, by understanding and feeling your ideas and feelings, we will continue to serve our country with the same determination in line with our founding purpose and to try to be worthy of the Republic you have entrusted to us.

While we miss you more than ever on the 85th anniversary of your passing away, we commemorate our martyrs with mercy and gratitude, our heroic veterans with respect and gratitude, and bow down to your spiritual presence.

May your soul rest in peace.”

We would like to thank all our members who were with us during this meaningful visit.
