We would like to thank all our shareholders that attended the Strategy Document Launch Meeting that was held in OrmanEvi on 26.02.2018 and we would like to hope to continue our collaboration to fulfill our goals in the Document which we created with a common mind.

As you know, the first Search Conference, a part of the Strategy Document project of the White Goods Suppliers’ Industry in the leadership of BEYSAD and as supported by KOSGEB, white goods main and suppliers’ industry, was held in BoluAbant Palace Otel on May 4-6, 2012 with the attendance of 37 people; the second Search Conference was realized in Bolu Gazelle Otel on December 13-15, 2013 with the attendance of 47 people; and third Search Conference was held in Bolu Gazelle Otel on December 11-13, 2015 with the attendance of 47 people by the support of TET (Union of Electric, Electronic and Service Exporters).

As the works continued in full throttle, about 80 shareholders from the sector came together in Bolu Gazelle Otel on December 15-17, 2017 for the Fourth Search Conference that was held again by the support of TET.

We would like to take this opportunity
to thank TET (Union of Electric, Electronic and Service Exporters) Executives and employees for making this Search Conference happen, as with the previous one, and to wish to continue our collaboration.

During 2 months since then, we worked on the records and notes taken meticulously during the Search Conference and completed the BEYSAD White Goods Suppliers’ Industry Strategy Document Report. The report is made of about 60 pages of sector data, comments with common mind and charts. The annex to the report involves the work of Ozyegin Uni. Department Head of Economics Prof. Dr. UmitOzlale whom we had the chance to listen to during the Search Conference.

Following the BEYSAD Extended Board Meeting on Monday, February 26, 2018,a meeting was held to bring together 55 shareholders for the report launch. The meeting was attended by BEYSAD Extended Board Members, main industry representatives from Arcelik, Ariston Thermo, BSH, Bosch, and Vestel and all the shareholders who worked in the search conference and in the committees.

The meeting started with the report introduction by Kerim Han Milar from Milar Business Advisory Services that supported us during the Conference and prepared the report. Mr. Milarinformed us with summary data regarding the techniques used, charts created, and information from records taken with common mind.

In short, in the light of suggestions made for 3 days during the Search Conference, the White Goods Suppliers’ Industry has two major goals:
The first is
to improve the Industry 4.0 investment strategies, to prepare investment plans and to implement these plans.
The second is
to enable suppliers to export and to improve their exports.
In this framework, companies need to employ the adequate human resources to attain these goals and to find the required financial sources for investment. The Strategy Document provides an important contribution in defining the responsibilities of the shareholders including the main industry, the suppliers’ industry, BEYSAD and the public industry in the road plans created at the Conference in line with the aforementioned goals."

Next, BEYSAD Board President Ş. Burak Özaydemir presented the developments regarding the Industry 4.0 Excellence Center which we will realize with OzyeginUniversity and TUSIAD, which was followed by OzyeginUni. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. RehaCivanlar’s informative presentation about Ozyegin Uni. and TUSIAD Board Member and previous BEYSAD Board President BahadirBalkir’s presentation about the related developments on the side ofTUSIAD.

The last presentation of the said meeting was given by AtisFuarcılık Board President BilginAygul, which was a fair introduction regarding the HEFI White Goods Fair to be held in Istanbul in June, of which we are a shareholder.

The meeting had a busy and fruitful agenda and was concluded with a big family photograph and dinner.

Once again, we would like to thank the friends and supporters of BEYSAD.
